Lesson 1. My New School Year

Teacher: Hello, everyone. The new school year has just started. You are second year students now. Please think about year last school year. What should you do to become better students? Minsu, please stand up and tell us your ideas.

Minsu: Hi, everyone. I was too lazy last year. I often slept in and hurried to school. I arrived late for school several time. This year I have a new alarm clock, so I should be on time for school every day. Last year I didn't study hard enough. I watched too much TV, and I put off doing my home work. Also, I didn't prepare for tests until the last minute. This year I'm going to work much harder to get better grades. And I didn't have many school friends last year. I'll have more friends if I am friendlier and kinder to other students. Thank you.
